Punya Foundation USA Releases Funds for Baadi Children’s Education
In continuation of supporting the education and basic living expenses of Baadi children, Punya Foundation US transferred USD 2500 to the Baadi Sarokar Manch’s bank account in Sanima Bank at Birendranagar, Surkhet Nepal. This amount translates to 350,800 Nepali rupiya.
This is the first phase of the scholarship fund released. The second phase of remaining funds will be transferred when funds become available in early 2026.

This is the second year of continued support to Baadi children education fund. Baadi Sarokar Manch, the local community organization, has taken the responsibility of taking care of around seventy children in a hostel facility that was constructed by Karnali province government. Punya Foundation US and Baadi Sarokar Manch has signed a memorandum of understanding for supporting education and basic needs of twelve children of age range 7 to 14 years, all coming from the mountain villages of Dailekh, Bajura, Jajarkot, Rukum.
One individual, Mr. Teknath Dhaurali, living in Louisville Kentucky, has been supporting two children directly by donating to Baadi children education funds.
Baadi community is one of the marginalised communities living in poverty and poor education conditions in the Karnali and Far-western province of Nepal.
