Our Team

Punya Foundation is a charity organisation. It was registered in South Australia in June 2010. The Foundation is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and holds Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Taxation Office under PBI schedule 4.1.1. Similarly, the Foundation has a 501 (c) (3) status in the USA. Also, Punya Foundation is registered in Nepal, Canada and Ethiopia and holds not-for-profit registration.

Punya Foundation has an international board of directors which oversees planning, strategy, program evaluation and implementation aspects. Each Country has its own executive team and operate in collaboration with the international board of directors. All country teams join hands to support education and empowerment projects operating in the developing countries. The country teams independently plan and organise programs at the community level, as appropriate and when needed.
